Living along Toronto’s Queen’s Quay means the Toronto Music Garden is a hop and a skip away, a fact that we took full advantage of during our maternity photoshoot with Caroline and Fred.
We were so excited to meet Jennifer after her dads reached out to us about a lifestyle newborn shoot with them in Kitchener and we had so much fun capturing their excitement and love during our session.
We knew we'd hit it off from the moment the email said mom loved our natural lifestyle approach to newborn photography and that she trusted us to capture the authentic emotions during the shoot.
We were happy to see this growing family again after meeting them back when the trio was still a duo! We did their maternity photoshoot earlier in the year and they asked us back for newborn photos when little baby boy Harrison arrived.
We weren’t surprised to find that Oliva had adoring, loving parents and we spent the morning together capturing some really sweet moments with their newborn baby girl.
When Joelle mentioned liking our natural/unposed newborn photos, we knew we had met a kindred soul! We love capturing candid photos because they feel the most authentic to us. We’ll take a few posed ones as well but our style works best when moms and dads act naturally and allow us to document it.
We were excited by Queeny’s request to have an urban maternity shoot. We made Toronto’s famous Graffiti Alley our first stop, then the THIS IS PARADISE mural at Cameron House before finishing up at the University of Toronto.
Amanda and Paul had such a great vibe together, and they were both totally at ease throughout, making for some great unposed photos. This was perfect for us as we think of these kinds of shoots as one part maternity photo shoot and one part couples photo shoot, so we aim to capture candid, natural moments that show off love and companionship.
Whether you’re in a condo or a house, a gift certificate is the perfect present. Marsha was thinking along the same lines when she reached out all the way from Texas to get a newborn photography gift card for her sister who just had her first child here in Toronto.
